MAC6 Conscious Workspace

This is our core MAC6 team. We have many others that we get the opportunity to work with at various levels of engagement who we couldn’t do what we do without. And, the fact remains that this is our core team. We are small and MIGHTY. Chrissy, Kyle, Scott, & Vickie.

Its interesting to me that in many of the conversations I have with Business Leaders around Business Strategy and Growth Plans and Investment Pitch Decks and Financial Statements and Purpose and Values Statements and so on, all roads inevitably lead to a conversation about people. They don’t normally start there, but they do almost always find their way there.

A transformation happens in that moment where a business owner is excited about a future opportunity, or scared about a potential threat to the business where it dawns on them that the answers they seek have been alongside them the whole time. Your people are your business, no matter what you do or make to create value for the world. They will be sometimes your biggest headaches and always your greatest rewards.

It is often too easy to forget or make light of that reality. The pressures and stresses of running a business can seem like one’s own burden to carry alone, and yet, given the opportunity to step back and reflect, always, there are your people. Through a common set of values and a diehard belief in a shared purpose, YOUR TEAM is ready and willing to stand alongside and achieve something wonderful together.

I hope that in the last days of this year, you take a bit of time to reflect on the love that is there and passion with your own teams, rather than just being stuck in the run around… What are each of their unique gifts? Why are you collectively such a special team as compared to each of you alone? Do you feel like you can take on any challenge with them by your side?

While MAC6 offers many flexible spaces for businesses to work, this is what we really do and care about. It is less of a space and more of A PLACE that gives you these kinds of opportunities… I am grateful every day to be surrounded by other business leaders who care so deeply about their people and recognize that it is only through their people that they will achieve their ultimate goals and purpose.
