Snuffle Mats for Dogs

This mat was fun to make! Typically I use 4 different colors and a particular pattern to make it look "random" but so that the colors come out evenly distributed. Depending on the size of the fabric cut, I'll have a dozen or two strips left that aren't enough to use in a mat. Once I get enough of one color family, I'll do a monochrome mat. For this mat I took one leftover strip from all the different fleece fabrics I've used in the past 8 years of making mats and put them in one mat totally randomly. It turned out quite cute!
