For many young athletes, talent and ability will open many doors, but what happens when a family can't afford to have their child play on the team they deserve to be a part of?
Unfortunately, these situations happen all too frequently.
In youth sports, talent helps but money rules Rising costs of travel leagues and club teams leave some young athletes at risk of being left behind.
Two stories from this past weekend:
- The first being women's sports equality as a Women's Basketball Tournament faces backlash after games took place in a Las Vegas hotel ballroom.
- The second is related to the challenges that the NIL landscape has created not for college athletes in which it was intended for, but the confusion it has created at the high school level.
