Saying goodbye to this suite it’s bittersweet! I’m excited to be moving to a bigger suite to expand my business.

2019: I move into this suite and sublease for a few days. I was only a year into my business, still trying to figure it out how to be an owner and bringing clientele in, while being a single mother.

2020: Covid happened and I was barely or not working during that time. It’s was a challenge with all the new rules towards nail techs, but I figure it out Then I found out the tenant I sublease was going to retire and work from home. Towards the end of the year I was able to find someone to sublease from me and I started getting regular clients booking with me!

2021: after a year of Covid clients were starting to come back and new clients were booking. Closer to the holidays my sublease tenant told me she was leaving and I was on my own again! My closest friend who owns a hair salon called me and told me to not give up and everything will workout!

2022: I took my friend’s advice and took off with my business. I was finally at a place where I saw my business growing and my family was growing at the same time.

2023: I decided to expand my business and education and went to massage school. Shout out to my significant other on supporting me while I was expanding the business, going to school, and raising our two boys. Closer to the end of the year I became a certified massage therapist and was ready for the journey to start.

2024: I was excited to expand my business and needed a bigger suite. But it was not in my favor most of the year until I got the opportunity for a suite that open up. It was perfect for expanding my business, now I’m finishing up the little details in my new suite. I can’t wait to see what is in storage for me.

Big shout to my parents, siblings, my significant other, friends from Phenix salon and definitely all my clients for supporting my small business. I couldn’t have done it without you guys.
