🔨 Door Restoration: Scope of Work Breakdown 🔨

We recently wrapped up this exterior door restoration, correcting a common issue where indoor casing molding was previously installed on an exterior stucco wall. Here is a breakdown of the full scope of work executed to ensure a weatherproof, premium finish:

Demolition: Removed the old, weathered interior casing molding that was susceptible to rot.
Waterproofing: Properly weatherproofed the opening to protect the substrate from the elements.
Stucco Integration: Applied a new stucco patch, floating and blending the texture out 12–15” into the existing wall to ensure a completely seamless transition with zero visible lines.
Trim Installation: Installed proper exterior stucco molding to handle long-term exposure.
Fine Finish Painting: Prepped and painted the new stucco patch, followed by precision coating on the stucco molding, jamb, and the door itself.
