You may have heard the term “Breaking the fourth wall.” The Fourth Wall is an invisible “wall” between the stage and audience. Actors will sometimes “break the fourth wall” by speaking directly to the audience. It doesn’t happen in every play, but can you think of any examples? In Enchanted April, Daniel Franco’s character, Mellersh, had some of these moments. The next time you visit the BeeKay Theatre, see if you can spot someone breaking the wall!
