SOLD: Parks’ Ark Pygmies Serendipity, aka Seren, is a 3 year old doe just confirmed pregnant with multiples (sire is PGBTJ Barrett) and due approximately Aug 13-23. She needs a wonderful new home with kidding experience (or a close mentor with kidding experience) and a experienced showman as she’s a take charge kinda gal until she trusts you, but with daily love and scratches, that will come about quickly. She comes from a strong kidding line with great maternal instincts. Her yearling daughter just had the triplets with no issues. Located for pick up in Tehachapi, CA. No shipping. PM me for more information. 🐐❤️

The triplets are enjoying a little time outside when I feed them twice a day. Still too little to be out without monitoring as the hawks are looking for food, as are some condors and vultures right now up here. They are 2.5 weeks old now. The boys (Scuttlebutt—darker and Walker—lighter with wattles) will be weaned mid-June and Lizzie will be weaned mid-July.

One week ago around 10pm on 4/13, our first freshener, PAP Bristol, had triplets with Jamba’s Pygmies Doubting Thomas (his first kids too).

It was day 146 and her udder had popped the night before. I had her on camera and she would cry every once in a while, but then about 9:30 she did THE CRY (iykyk). I was in the barn within 3 minutes to see kid #1 standing, screaming at Bristol, with Bristol facing her, screaming right back. 😂🤣 We worked on getting her dried off until her big brother decided to come out head only. He needed some help getting out and soon after buck #2 came out with his head and one leg. 🎉

Their names reflect the fact these are my last kids ever (I wasn’t even supposed to deliver them) plus a nod to my mom, who raised me while showing Samoyeds as a child.

#1 Doe PAP Fare Thee Well, aka Lizzie (one of my mom’s favorite dogs was Lizzie).

#2 Buck PAP Scuttlebutt (another of my mom’s favorite Sammies)

#3 Buck with wattles PAP Tarheel Talker (Scuttlebutt’s registered name)

All 3 are thriving and healthy. They are black and/or black agouti. So very proud of my sweet doe, Bristol.

While Bristol is sold, the three kids and Bristol’s dam, PAP Serendipity, aka Seren, are looking for their next homes. Seren is available immediately. The bucks will be weaned at 8-9 weeks old (6/8-6/15) but won’t go to a home unless I know they will be wethered at 4 months old. Otherwise they will be available at 4.5 months old (beginning of September). Baby Lizzie will be weaned mid-July. If interested, please contact me via my Contact Form at www.parksarkpygmies.yolasite.com/for-sale.php (sorry the page isn’t updated at the moment—all other goats have been sold except these 4).

Almost done. For the first time in 16 years we don’t have a buck, as Barrett went to his new home today.

Twizzy and her daughter, Godiva. ❤️

Today we released Twizzy from pain and old age at 12.5 years old. She was a first generation of Parks’ Ark Pygmies as her sweet mama, Nancy, was our original doe. She gave us 14 beautiful kids as we were starting out and she lives on in a few of our goats in CA and in Anika’s Shadow Ranch Pygmies herd in NC. She was an amazing mama to her 14 babies, still cuddling with her descendants recently. The barn is emptier without her but she wouldn’t have made it through another winter. 💔
