A B-52 went down today at Edwards Air Force Base in California, taking the lives of eight souls — service members, civilians, and contractors who climbed aboard expecting a routine flight.
A crash like this is felt across all of aviation, in every branch. You don’t expect to not come home from an everyday mission. So we pray — for those who take flight, for those who risk their lives for our freedom, for the eight families now waiting on a knock at the door, for the Air Force, and for the whole aviation community. The impact is felt through all of us.
