Bored Botanist

Just posted an update video on my monstera shipment 🚚 from 3/15
It’s been a learning process dealing with plants on a larger scale than what I’m used to but they’re doing great so far! I do have an entire bucket I’m calling my ‘rehab’ bucket. 🪣 those monsteras are being a bit stubborn with rotting so they’re getting extra attention.

My large form is giving me some magic!! 🪄 we can’t see the yellow variegation quite yet, I haven’t had a new Aurea leaf in 2 years so I can’t remember how long that takes… my guess is we’ll start to see her variegation in 2 weeks 🫣 🍃 💚💛💚

Y’all! I made it official yesterday. Official DBA AS BORED BOTANIST!

I get to bakes to realize I had left my ID at home running out of gas & phone dying, drive back to pick up Eddie and my ID (4 hours of driving)… make it back to the county clerk office before they closed early at 3… got some lunch cus I hadn’t eaten 😅 then back up the hill to Tehachapi to publish that in the paper (kill me on the 58, the freeway was a nightmare on a Friday afternoon) then driving back home and I realize I had a zoom meeting in 3 minutes 😂 FINALLY when all was said and done, I have my DBA, it’s being published, I got my TikTok shop created during that zoom and things have finally calmed down! I SLEPT IN today! I’m about to grab my coffee and get started on my MBA license (made by apes) and go check on my plants 🪴
Y’all, I haven’t ran around that stressed out since i was running the pizza shop 😅 it’s a feeling I actually love… it gives me a weird sense of purpose & accomplishment I swear 💯
