Our EPIC High School is on Jose Davila from our Bakersfield campus. See what one of his teachers has to share about him...

"I’m excited to recognize José Davila as Student of the Month. José is always on top of things and stands out in my U.S. History class for his dedication and enthusiasm. He doesn’t just come to class; he actively engages with the material and is always prepared. He’s the first one to raise his hand every day, eager to share something new and contribute to our class discussions.
José’s commitment to his education is evident in everything he does. He’s not just focused on his own success, he’s always ready to help his peers when they need it. Whether it’s explaining a concept or offering support with an assignment, José is the kind of student who makes everyone around him better.
What really sets José apart is his constant desire to improve. He’s always looking for ways to better himself and take his learning to the next level. It’s clear that he has a vision of where he wants to be, and he works hard every day to get closer to that goal. - Hilario Lopez

Ruby Torres is one of FIELD's Teachers on Special Assignment and we are highlighting her inspiration this Women's History Month. We love what Ruby had to share.

Today, our Nutrition team hosted our very first Multicultural Nutrition/Farm to Fork Workshop, and it was a huge success! 🎉🥳 Our team worked with a delicious, fresh recipe that featured chard, grown right here by our CTE Ag Instructor Julia and our talented CTE AG students! 🥬💚 It was a perfect blend of learning, hands-on cooking, and celebrating local produce! 🧑‍🍳🌽

We can’t wait to continue this journey of sharing healthy, multicultural meals grown with love. Stay tuned for more workshops coming soon! 🍴✨
