Tea Area Venture Elementary

Third graders spent Tuesday at the baseball field! It was a chilly day for baseball, but they enjoyed a day at the Bird Cage watching a Sioux Falls Canaries game! They even managed to grab a couple of foul balls!

4h graders enjoyed a beautiful day at the State Theater, as well as some time downtown at Jacobson Plaza.

What beautiful weather for a great day outside! Today, our JK–2nd grade students enjoyed their Fun Day, and it was a blast. Students rotated through four different stations, keeping the energy high all day long. The highlight was definitely the tug-of-war station—especially with some parents joining in on the fun!

Fourth graders ventured over to the Tea Area Historical Museum, where they explored artifacts from the past. Volunteers were on hand to share their knowledge and help students better understand what they were seeing, bringing history to life in a meaningful way!

Thank you to DeGeest Corporation for giving a tour to our Venture 5th-grade students! Students are learning about robotics in their technology class with Ms. Gass, so this was a great real-world connection. We really appreciate the opportunity for our students to see this in action!
