Message from John,

For the past 30 years Kim Hofer has been a staple in the landscape industry, serving the community of Sioux Falls and the surrounding area. I have been blessed for the past 11 years to learn and grow under the leadership of such a well respected and humble man as an employee and more importantly a friend. As Kim continues to build his already successful venture with Big D Homes, I am proud to introduce myself as the new owner of Impact Landscape Design. If we have had the pleasure of doing work with you in the last 11 years you may have known me as the Landscape Designer for Impact Landscape Design. Moving forward, that title still remains true. Infact, very little will change as we strive to carry on the respected name that Kim has passed down to me.

I would like to close this message with an extremely heartfelt thank you to Kim Hofer for the endless kindness, knowledge, and love he has shown me and the rest of the Impact Landscape Design team. We hope to make you proud and carry on the tradition you created.

After 30 years in the landscape industry it is now time to pass the torch and concentrate on my other ventures! I’ve enjoyed my customers (most of them anyways 😉), business associates and most of all my current and past employees! Many have become friends for life!
John Kutz is now the owner operator of Impact Landscape Design! He has been an employee of the company for 10 years and has been more or less running it for the past 2-3 years. I know he will carry on the vision and do a great job!!
