Forklift Operator Job Summary We are seeking a Forklift Operator to join our corrugated warehouse team. The Forklift Operator is responsible for ensuring that all units are banded properly and have a clear visible load tag on them when loaded and that there are no broken or missing straps on the units. Position Overview: Supervise the daily routine of producing quality board in a safe, productive manner with minimum waste. Cross-train employees in key positions.

Position Responsibilities:
• Maintain OSHA/MIOSHA safety, quality, efficiencies, and production levels set by management. Communicate these standards to your staff.
• Assist in determining quality guidelines. Report quality concerns to supervisor and upper management.
• Establish high morale within your department by showing fairness, consistency, and an interest in employee problems. Maintain confidentiality.
• Maintain roll stock warehouse and corrugator supplies.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Department on any repairs or preventive maintenance done in the department.
• Keep upper management informed of problems or situations that may affect the performance of your department.
• Conduct daily Production/Safety meetings with departmental personnel.
• Implement, maintain, and support all company policies and procedures, including safety program and good housekeeping.
• Additional duties as assigned.
