Adding exterior insulation to an older home, like the 1930’s-built , means a significant upgrade in the performance of the home’s energy efficiency.

Here, we’ve installed a 3/4” EPS foam insulation with a foil face, combined with a furred-out rain screen, to add nearly an R-6 to the total insulation performance. Plus, the EPS foam creates a continuous thermal break, preventing radiant heat from transferring though the structural members.
