The FFA officer team had a great day learning about leadership skills and communication at the Longview District Leadership Camp.

Kendi was named an outstanding camper.

Katy Jo was named vision to victory session grand champion.

Students also participated in the district community service project collecting items for local animal shelters.

Congratulations to Kara McKee on a great week at the National Jr. Brangus Show in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Kara earned Reserve Champion in Division 1, had a class win and 2nd in class. Kara was also high point individual in the judging contest and completed her first term as a Brangus Ambassador earning a $500 scholarship. She was selected to serve as a 26-27 National Brangus Ambassador.

The Texas FFA Association is excited to work with Cowtown CALF for our annual convention service drive to help every single step Feel Like Home! Chapters are encouraged to bring running shoes and/or ankle socks to the Texas FFA Convention July 6-10, 2026.

The C.A.L.F. Program was created in 2009 as part of The Cowtown Marathon's mission to promote a lifelong love of fitness, to help tens of thousands of children from area school districts and community centers lace-up and start crossing finish lines.
