Event professionals, we are often the calm in the middle of chaos.
We carry timelines, emotions, client expectations, vendor questions, last minute changes, family dynamics, budgets, weather concerns, design details, and the pressure of making someone else’s moment feel unforgettable.
And because we are so used to being the problem solvers, the helpers, the fixers, and the ones who “figure it out,” sometimes we forget that we are human too.
Mental Health Awareness Month is a beautiful reminder that rest is not weakness. Boundaries are not bad business. Asking for help does not make you less capable. And your value is not measured by how exhausted you are at the end of the day.

You can serve people well and still choose yourself.
