Depending on the storm’s path and severity, our staff may be impacted, making it unsafe for us to return to the office. If this occurs, our phones will be forwarded to our parent company, Assured Partners, who will assist you with claims. When you call our office, please press 3 to report a hurricane claim. You’ll leave a message with your information, and the claims team will call you back to assist. They have all your policy details and are experienced in handling claims, so you’ll be in good hands.

Reporting Claims

If we are affected and you cannot reach us, you can call your insurance company directly to report a claim. Here is a list of claims numbers for all insurance companies operating in Florida:

In Case of Property Damage

If your home is habitable and not under evacuation orders, follow these steps to expedite the claims process:

1. Temporary Repairs: Complete any necessary temporary or emergency repairs to prevent further damage.
2. Inventory: Create a list of all damaged items.
3. Documentation: Take photos of the damaged property and keep all damaged items in a safe location for the adjuster’s inspection.
4. Receipts: Retain all receipts for repairs or additional living costs incurred due to the hurricane, and provide them to the claims adjuster when contacted.

Please remember that you can call a restoration firm to clean up your home and prevent further damage. However, do not sign any contracts for permanent repairs without first consulting with an adjuster.
