Made the most of 48 hours in Amsterdam! Beautiful gingerbread-style houses and unique houseboats along the canals 🛥️ world-class museums (Van Gogh 🌻 and Anne Frank 📔 were favorites), plus our first Christmas Market 🎄 of the trip in picturesque Museumplein! Other faves included all the deliciousness we experienced at Watergang, The Seafood Bar, Cafe Winkel 43, and Kaasbar (can every city have a cheese conveyor belt? 🧀 🙏) while we explored narrow house facades 🏘️ , a historic under-bridge prison ⛓️ , and the Light Festival 🌟 along the Herengracht. 💖
So honored to plan the Voices for Children of Tampa Bay’s heartwarming “Brunch for a Brighter Future” where adorable dogs met delicious food and libations, paired with compassionate hearts. Guests enjoyed tasty bites and cocktails while meeting inspiring kids whose lives were being changed through the VFC programs, all while helping foster children build a brighter tomorrow. It was a memorable morning filled with hope, community, and making a real difference.
Hosting our family of 14 is a labor of love, but I wouldn’t have it any other way! A few of our traditions include: an outdoor feast, menus cards (the kiddos menus include activities like coloring and a maze), a favorite dish made from scratch in honor of each person in attendance, a DIY crafted gift from the kids (this year they made ornaments and got to choose who to give them to), a neighborhood walk, and a group photo (this time we were lucky enough to have a professional pic taken by ! 🏆) Grateful for all the blessings and the memories. 💗

My heart is so full! 💗 There aren’t enough words to express how grateful and honored I feel to be named the Volunteer Philanthropist Of The Year by TBBW. All of the finalists were truly incredible change-makers in our community and I am so lucky to just be nominated among them. Philanthropy is selfless by nature; doing good because you can, and not for the notoriety. But receiving this award in recognition of the impact I’m helping to make through our grassroots giving circle , the 10 years of dedicated volunteer service to the Charity Polo Classic and the 200+ nonprofits along the way, and the work I’m doing at in honor of my Dad, felt so incredibly motivating and validating. 🥹 I dedicated this award in my Dad’s honor - he’s been on my heart more than usual this week, and last night felt like a God-wink from him. 🪽
As I said in my completely-shocked-and-unprepared speech, “Feeling gratitude without expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it”.💝 I am truly so thankful for all of the incredible nonprofit organizations who trust me with their events and allow me to be a part of their missions ( to name a few!), and all the friends and family in my life who support me in my endeavors (you know who you are! 🫶🏻), and especially my amazing husband who champions me year after year and is my biggest fan and cheerleader. 📣 I feel so lucky to get to do what I do, and this award feels like the biggest hug, high five, and pat on the back rolled into one.
