Please join us in welcoming our newest EMS Fellow to Tampa Fire Rescue, Dr. Zachary Gilbert.

Each July, we welcome a new physician to our one-year EMS Fellowship Program, where they work alongside our Medical Directors and our firefighters and paramedics to gain hands-on experience in prehospital emergency medicine.

Founded by longtime Medical Director Dr. Catherine “Cathy” Carrubba, this fellowship continues her legacy of advancing EMS education and developing the next generation of physician leaders.
