So many reachouts for lately! (Kudos that they are wanting alternatives to benzodiazepine class prescriptions.)
Having the MTHFR gene mutation (which 75% have at least 1 copy!) predisposes you to anxiety and we know to support an MTHFR gene mutation we need NON-synthetic B vitamins typically in a METHYL form to absorb it. BUT that can actually FUEL MORE anxiety for those with a slow COMT gene which makes them SENSITIVE to METHYL donors. SOLUTION-> a B-complex with HYDROXY/Adenosyl B12 & FOLINIC ACID. Why a B-Complex? Because along with b12 & Folate we need B6 to support production of 5-HTP , SEROTONIN & MELATONIN naturally in the body to PREVENT ANXIETY!
