I hope you've had a lovely National Poetry Month! As many of you know, poetry is one of my favorite forms of creative writing. I've spent this month editing, organizing, and writing my poetic work. How have you celebrated?

While I haven't posted much about it this month, I have been focusing on my poetry compendium, Suites & Variations! I've been working on this project for quite a while (years) and I'm so pleased to see it coming together.

This book is a comprehensive look at the primary themes and metaphors I use in my writing.

🖋️The first two sections are poetry suites - poems intentionally written with a particular focus in mind
🖋️ The following sections are overarching themes and metaphors, including Haunts, Monsters & Fairy Tales, Fashion & Armor, Narrative & Plot, and Analog, to name a few

There isn't an official release date, but I will be sure to update you as soon as I have one. In the meantime, take a look at my Patreon for poetry, essays, and more.

It's planner season, again! What're you going to be using going into 2026? What daily and weekly goals are you aiming for in the new year?

Dorian has been back to bullet journaling for a good while now. They've moved to a single page per week, while using the opposing page for longer notes and doodles.
