Day 4 was our final day in Atlanta, and our students gave it everything they had right up until takeoff 🐾🥤

🐶 LifeLine Animal Project: We wrapped up our service with a tour of the shelter, handed out treats to the dogs, and built enrichment toys and treats for the cats and dogs waiting for their forever homes. LifeLine Animal Project

🥤 World of Coca-Cola: We celebrated a job well done with lunch at Three Dollar Cafe, then explored the World of Coca-Cola, an interactive museum on how something as simple as a drink can bring the world together.

✈️ Heading Home: At the airport, our students reflected on four incredible days of service. We came to Atlanta to give back, and we left with full hearts.

That’s a wrap on our 2026 Atlanta student service-learning trip! Thank you to everyone who made this trip possible, and to our students for showing up for Atlanta, for each other, and for themselves💙

Day 2 reminded our students that service isn’t just about the hands, it’s about the eyes and the heart too 🌱✊

🌳 Grant Park Conservancy: Our morning started with environmental stewardship, pulling weeds, removing invasive plants, and fertilizing flowerbeds for a city that isn’t even ours. Grant Park Conservancy

✊ The King Center & National Center for Civil and Human Rights: Students grounded themselves in the legacies of Dr. King and Gandhi, then went deeper with immersive exhibits, including a Sit-In Simulation that put them in the shoes of a 1950s peaceful protester. It left a lot of us asking, “Would I have been able to stand up for what was right back then?” TheKingCenter National Center for Civil and Human Rights

🥗 Open Hand Atlanta: We closed the day packaging medically tailored meals for homebound individuals. Our students worked so efficiently that Open Hand actually ran out of food for them to pack hours early! Open Hand Atlanta

Two days down, two more to go, stay tuned for what’s next!
