We hope that everyone was safe thru the storm. We will be in the shop today and tomorrow regular hours, BUT we will not be taking any items until next week. Our current turnaround is the 23rd and on, but that date will change since we have to reschedule pickups from this week. If you have garments at the shop, we will be reaching out to reschedule once we have the shop back up in order. Thank you all for your patience during this time.

Let’s talk about horsehair braid! Historically, it was made from the stiff hair of a horse’s mane and tail, and then from cotton and linen, but today’s version is made from nylon or polyester fibers. Most commonly we see it in bridal gowns and formal wear, it’s used to add shape and stiffness to the hemline. If your dress has this, we can remove it and reattach to keep the look or just take it away to remove volume from your gown! Call or text today for your appointment!
