Aloha, Dunedin! 🌺 We’re excited to share that The HONU is now a proud drop-off location for the Cans for Community initiative! 🌎✨

Bring your used beverage cans and drop them in our collection bin—conveniently located just outside the Tiki Bar entrance! (you should probably grab a bite to eat and a delicious rum cocktail, too)🍹🩵

Every can you recycle helps support local nonprofit organizations and keeps our environment clean.

Trivia: 🎉🍺 Cheers to history! Did you know the first canned beer hit the market 90 years ago today?
On January 24, 1935, Krueger’s Cream Ale & Krueger’s Finest Beer were sold to the public in a can.
Needless to say, canned beer was a success and accepted by the beer drinking population!

Let's raise a glass (errr, I mean a CAN) to Krueger’s and canned beer! And, please don’t forget to save that can for Cans for Community so we can recycle it and donate the proceeds to local nonprofits! ♻️🍻
