💰 What is a Trump Account?
A Trump Account is a new tax-advantaged investment account designed for children. Qualifying children may receive a $1,000 initial contribution from the U.S. government, giving them a head start on long-term savings and investing.

👶 Who is eligible?
According to current guidance, eligible children must:
• Be a U.S. citizen
• Have a Social Security number
• Be born between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2028 (to qualify for the $1,000 contribution)

📈 How does it work?
• Parents and employers may also be able to contribute, up to applicable annual limits.
• Funds generally cannot be withdrawn before age 18.
• The account is expected to follow rules similar to a traditional IRA for distributions.
• Current guidance indicates the account may eventually be eligible for conversion to a Roth IRA.

As implementation continues, additional details and guidance may become available regarding account setup, eligibility, and contribution rules.
