There are choral works that linger in your ears long after the final note—whether for their rich suspensions or vivid text painting. This is that piece for me.
I’m excited to return to Kansas City in two weeks to conduct this fine ensemble again.
The program, This Place, invites us to be grounded in the present moment—fully intentional, fully present.

If you’d told me twenty years ago that my work in academia would include teaching gospel music, I would’ve laughed in your face.

And yet—here we are.

Grateful for the work.
Grateful for the people.
Grateful for the Good News of Jesus Christ.
