Neighborly

Our incredible intern just graduated, so we have to brag about her! She began volunteering with us her freshman year of college, and formally interned for the past 2 years - doing everything from admin to fundraising to assisting in all 5 of our initiatives. She dove deepest into refugee care and oversaw large events, created new ones, and has a heart that personally welcomes families seeking a new life in America. On any given day you’d find her throwing an ice-cream social in a refugee apartment complex, teaching English to Syrian mothers, bulk shopping for toiletry bags, or waking up at 5am to make bagels for day laborers. While our ministry and family will miss her dearly, she is off to fellowship that continues to align with her calling to serve people in the margins.

We are so deeply grateful for Incarnation Tallahassee, who just became our THIRD official Church Partner! They are stepping up in the two ways we need it most: backing our work financially and sending us boots on the ground to cultivate earth as it is in Heaven!
