This past Friday, cadets interested in branching aviation got to take a trip to Fort Rucker!! Cadets were briefed about day to day life as an aviation officer, got to see a museum, rode in a Blackhawk, and even got to be hands on in the simulation lab where they could practice flying. By the end of the day, they knew all about the branch and the cool things you get to do, and everyone had a blast. A huge thank you to Fort Rucker for allowing us to visit, and those who took the time to show us around!!

This morning for PT, we did everyone’s favorite- SPORTS PT!! With ultimate frisbee on one side and football on the other, cadets had a blast building cohesion in their squads, and getting competitive amongst their peers. One more day until Spring Break, Seminoles!! Remember to always be safe, but have fun and enjoy the time off. Be ready to come back and finish the semester strong, as it’s going to be a busy one!!

A huge congratulations to our Ranger Challenge team who placed 1st in the Red Tier Division out of 11 schools and 1st in the hand gr***de assault course lane out of 43 schools!! This team put in 5 months of countless hours, hard work, and hundreds of miles, seven days a week. They represented our Battalion with pride and absolutely crushed it. This young team walked away from this year’s competition ready to start shaping the team for next year. Amazing job, Seminoles, keep crushing it!!
