Today, we celebrate 250 years of freedom, resilience, and the enduring partnership between the United States and American Samoa.

For more than a century, American Samoa has proudly stood alongside the United States. Through our shared history, service, and commitment to one another, we’ve built a bond rooted in mutual respect, opportunity, and the protection of our islands and communities. We are grateful for those who have served and continue to serve, helping keep our people safe while strengthening the future of our islands.

As we celebrate this historic milestone, we honor the generations who came before us and look ahead with hope for those still to come.

Happy Independence Day, America, and congratulations on 250 years.

On a personal note, today also happens to be our founder’s birthday nathanielsasa! Thank you to everyone who has sent your kind wishes. Your support means the world, and we’re grateful to continue this journey of serving our people together.

During the Moana live-action press tour in Rio de Janeiro, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson revealed that Moana 3 is already being discussed.

“The answer is yes, we have talked about Moana 3. But first, live-action Moana, we let that come out first. We have amazing Jared Bush and Dana Ledoux Miller… and they will pen Moana 3.”

While no release date or story details have been announced, it’s exciting to know Moana’s journey isn’t over.

A 200-kilometre run. Five days. One purpose.

Five athletes from A1 Training Club are taking on Run4Samoa, an incredible endurance challenge around the island of Upolu to raise funds and awareness for the Samoa Victim Support Group (SVSG), an organization dedicated to supporting women, children, and families affected by abuse and violence.

What makes this journey special isn’t the distance, it’s the reason behind it.

As one of the runners shared, “It was always bigger than us from the start. This is the why to what we’re doing everything for.” Every step they take is driven by a commitment to giving hope to Samoa’s most vulnerable and helping ensure they have access to the care, protection, and support they deserve.

Throughout the five-day journey, the team will run through communities across Upolu, carrying a message of unity, compassion, and service. Their efforts have also been supported by Kamikaze Energy Sports Drinks and many others who believe in making a lasting impact.
