Gordon brings a rare blend of artistry, seamanship, and teaching experience to the PSSI community. A retired art teacher with 35 years in the classroom, he has spent a lifetime helping others see, learn, and grow.

His sailing story began at just eight years old and continued into small keelboats during his teenage years. In 1981, Gordon began working with North Sails, where he gained valuable knowledge of sail shape, trim, and performance — skills that opened the door to years of cruising and racing experience.

From local waters to international races, Gordon has crewed and helmed with the kind of steady confidence that comes from a lifetime on the water.

We're looking for a qualified PSSI Club member to help move Easy Does It, our Capri 22, from Des Moines Marina to Tyee Marina on Wednesday, June 24th for her scheduled bottom paint and maintenance appointment.
