Unwound

#9 in The Future Was This series. This one has some more existential poetics happening. Again, while it’s not clearly about any particular thing, the little bricks being thrown around aren’t actually bricks, so that must mean something. Listeners are allowed to decide for themselves!
It has a heavy dissonance with simultaneous colliding movements from the instruments and never strikes a power chord deliberately. If you like The Nation of Ulysses that would be a good place to look for some inspiration. Toss in some fresh ground San Diego for a little spice.
