Announcing SCA First Responder CPE Units

09.16.2025 to 11.04.2025

CAPSTONE University in partnership with the Spiritual Care Association, their First Responder Chaplain Division, and the Graduate Academy of CPE Supervision is offering an unprecedented new way to do Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) for First Response Chaplains.

Who Qualifies: If you belong to a first response organization and have been serving in the field as a chaplain for at least six months, then you qualify. (Accepted based upon interview).

Cost: For this initial unit of CPE the cost will be $250.

Credit: Half of a unit at a time of CPE.

Dates: 09.16.2025 to 11.04.2025 for the first Half Unit, then 11.25.2025 to 01.13.2025 for the second Half Unit.

Time: 4:30-7:30pm PST on Tuesdays. *Please note this is Pacific Time Zone.

Student Commitment: Attend every day of the online group time (with limited exceptions), and approximately 15 hours per week or more in the field doing the work of a first response chaplain in your area of operation.
