Janet Olwen Russell

On December 13, 2025, Janet O. Russell passed away with her family by her side.

She was born on January 23, 1932 to Albert Lloyd and Violet Lloyd (Parker) in Bellingham, Washington. She met her forever husband, HK Russell Jr. at a young age roller skating. Later married and had four children.

She was preceded in death by her husband (HK Russell) just after their 70th Anniversary. Her son (Daniel K. Russell), and daughter (Tamara Sires-Russell).

She is survived by her son, Ronald D. Russell (Debbie), daughter Carla Lovell-Russell.

She remained on the homestead caring for her flowers, that she loved. Her legacy is one of unwavering devotion to her family and countless extended families she touched. She was a prayer warrior, and her greatest joy in life was family and her Christian faith.

As we say our goodbyes for now, she was the heart of our family, her love, strength and kindness will forever live on in each of us.

Our funeral staff had a wonderful time joining the Duck Daze Parade this year—the hearse even made a special appearance! 💀

Mary Carmen Jones

Mary Carmen JonesDecember 21, 1943 – February 2, 2026

Mary Jones, 82, of Gig Harbor, peacefully passed away on February 02, 2026 at her home, surrounded by loved ones, after a difficult battle with Heart failure and Kidney disease. Mary was born on December 21, 1943 to mother Beatrice Zubiate McCray, father Salvador Stein in the city of Laredo, Texas. Mary Worked as a bartender for years in the Gig Harbor area at the Eagles, Net shed, Hy iu hee hee and the Cloverleaf in Tacoma. Mary loved her career and loved her customers and they loved her. Mary retired in 2008 and always said how much she missed her customers. Mary also played baseball slow pitch in the 80's and 90's, she was a pitcher and loved it . Mary met her future husband, Brian Jones in the late 1950's in Wichita,Kansas where he was stationed for he was in the Air Force. Brian passed away in 2008. Brian and Mary went on to have 3 boys, Brian Jones Jr, Kelly Jones and KC Jones. Mary was predeceased by Mother, Beatrice McCray, step Father, Don McCray, Father, Salvader Stein,Husband, Brian Jones and Son, Kelly Jones. MARY is survived by Brian Jones Jr, KC jones, nephew KC Jones JR and niece Nichole Maxwell Jones.

Celebration of life will be held at the Gig Harbor Eagles on Saturday, June 27 at 2:00.
