We are requesting even more Manga through Donors Choose. Our manga section is hands down the most popular in the library, and it's been made clear by students that there is an almost inexhaustible demand for more manga. We've also seen the ways that a love for manga can develop into exploring other graphic novels, transitioning to "regular" novels, and generally providing a bridge to literacy.
