Today, my heart is with the military spouses.

While their heroes are deployed, they carry the weight of an entire household on their shoulders. They celebrate birthdays alone, wipe away tears in silence, answer difficult questions from little ones, and somehow find the strength to smile through the uncertainty.

Yesterday, I spoke with a young military wife. She has a 2-year-old son, another baby due in October, and no family nearby while her husband serves our nation. Her story is not unique—and that is exactly why we must never forget.

Behind every deployed service member is a family serving alongside them.

We wear RED on Fridays not as a tradition, but as a promise:
We see you.
We honor you.
We are praying for you.
And we are thinking about the day your hero finally comes home.

A state-wide Health Advisory has been issued by the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation due to the elevated AQI forecast. All outdoor activities are cancelled for the duration of the advisory. All recreational programming has been cancelled, and participants have been notified directly. Our summer youth programs have been moved indoors to their designated rain locations.

A suggested meal contribution of $3.50 helps support future Senior Nutrition Program meals. No eligible individual is turned away due to inability or unwillingness to pay. Meals for guests under age 60 are $7.
