Syracuse Development Academy

Syracuse Development Academy is excited to welcome Vittorio Petrera to its girls coaching staff for the 2026-27 season. Vittorio’s lifetime of experience in the game from youth to professional level will bring a wealth of knowledge to our young players. After his successful playing career with the Syracuse Silver Knights and Utica City FC, Petrera’s focus is now on developing a new generation.

We’re proud to add another well known coach and member of the Syracuse soccer community to the SDA family.

🥈 Our 2017 SDA Boys battled hard all tournament and finished as runners-up, bringing home 2nd place!

🏆 Our 2015 Boys capped off an outstanding weekend by winning the NorthStar Cup Final and lifting the trophy!

👏 A productive and memorable tournament for Coach Arne as well—who recently welcomed a new addition to his family and became a proud dad!
