A one-off, canary-yellow BMW 635CSi modified by Gemballa in 1985 was reportedly built for a wealthy client in the Middle East - believed by many to be Uday Hussein, son of Saddam Hussein. The bespoke build featured a widebody kit, quad exhausts, Recaro seats, a built-in TV, and an extravagant interior lined with gadgets.
The project cost around $110,000-$125,000 at the time - including around $60,000 worth of Gemballa upgrades.
In 2003, during the fall of Baghdad, the car was photographed covered in dust behind razor wire, with a U.S. soldier posing beside it — marking its last confirmed sighting. Since then, the custom 635CSi has vanished from public view, sparking speculation about whether it was destroyed, hidden, or quietly exported.
