Wednesday Gospel reflection Fr Gerry Waterman, OFM Conv, SU/ESF Chaplain

For Catholics in the states of Nebraska, Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine: today is the Solemnity of the Ascension of Jesus, in which we celebrate the return of the resurrected Christ to his heavenly dwelling, where we hope to join him. In the dioceses celebrating today, this IS a holy day of obligation. There will be NO Mass at the Catholic Center, but you can find local Mass times at the link in our bio.

For the rest of the country, this celebration is transferred to this coming Sunday.
