NYS Medicaid pays ambulance services only 40% of what it costs to take a patient to the hospital. In fact, NYS Medicaid pays the least of all surrounding states. Your local community ambulance services are struggling to make ends meet.

Please support your local ambulance service by writing your representatives through this link:

It takes only a minute and will go a long way toward sustaining our EMS system. Thank you from your community first responders.

One of our EMT's was eating dinner at Friendlys in Clay with her friends this past week when a mother started to yell that her child was choking. Dannielle quickly jumped into action to assist the child. Dannielle administered multiple back blows ultimately clearing the child's airway.
Dannielle showed the importance of knowing how to aid a choking child.
TLC would like to preach the importance of knowing not only hands only CPR but the signs of Choking for both a Child and Adult.
Great work Dannielle!!
