Eating Long Island

I just found one of the cutest cafés on Long Island. 😍☕️

If you’re looking for a spot to grab coffee, get some work done, or catch up with a friend, you need to check out New York Caffeine in East Meadow. They also have locations in Franklin Square, Westbury and Bridgeport CT.

I couldn’t leave without trying one of their made-to-order crepes, and WOW. 🤤 I got the Nutella, pistachio, strawberry & kanafa crepe and it was absolutely incredible.

Their canned drinks are also so fun (and perfect to take on the go). My favorites were the Caramel Macchiato and the Strawberry Matcha. They also have muffins, cheesecake, and don’t even think about leaving without grabbing the Chocolate Chip Cookie Croissant. 🍪✨

My FAVORITE restaurant of 2026 so far! 😍👉🏼 We finally checked out in Selden, the sister restaurant to in Centereach, and it was unreal. They serve Chifa cuisine, blending Peruvian and Chinese flavors, and every dish brought something different to the table. We honestly loved everything we tried. The flavors were insane.

- Causa Cevichada – Layers of potato, avocado, and chicken topped with fresh fish ceviche.
- Leche de Tigre – Fresh fish marinated in lime juice with red onions, Peruvian corn, and crunchy cancha.
- Kam Lu Wantan – Crispy housemade pork wontons topped with shrimp, vegetables, and a savory soy glaze.
- Tallarines Picchu – Wok-tossed noodles with chicken, steak, and vegetables, served with vegetable fried rice.
- Pollo Entero (Solo) – Whole rotisserie chicken.
- Chicharrón de Pollo
- Tres Leches (I was in heaven with this)

If you go, do yourself a favor and order something with a side of the fried rice… trust me. 🤤
