Mentally, I'm a gray treefrog sitting on a berry near a wetland.

Physically though, I'm a human, at a computer, writing witty social media posts for the govy. Enough insight! We need to share with you the wonders of the American beautyberry.

This treefrog has great taste and has chosen its throne wisely. The American beautyberry is a native shrub that goes by many names. It's also known as French mulberry, sourbush, bunchberry, and purple beauty-berry. The fruit, or berries, supply food for over 40 different species of songbirds! It's an important source of food for all sorts of wildlife.
