Funny how we’re told to trust the “progress,” but somehow the cows, the land, and the people nearby are always the ones expected to quietly deal with the consequences. Big shiny data centers may sound impressive on paper, but when they start showing up next to farms and families, some of us can’t help but wonder what’s really being traded off in the name of development. As a mom, I pay attention to the things that don’t get talked about enough: food, water, health, land, and what happens when “innovation” moves in without much accountability. Maybe it’s just me, but when the science feels rushed and the questions get brushed aside, I get a little skeptical. So yes, I’m noticing. And no, I’m not automatically applauding every new project with a fresh coat of tech buzzwords and a whole lot of unanswered questions.

Highly illegal to f**k with eagles!

I was tipped off yesterday to there being active eagle nests within the Flat Creek Solar facility site in Canajoharie, New York. Zeryai Hagos rubber stamped their final permit on Good Friday, ignoring expert submissions, testimony, and destruction to surrounding water / wells. I drove out to Canajoharie. This is also the home of the Amish community that built my farm for me and that I documented on here for you all. It’s a special place to me. Sure enough, there was an eagle nest and eagle perched adjacent to the nest right within the Flat Creek Solar facility. ORES has both admitted and denied there being a nest there. They defer to the foreign developer, another Canadian corporation, to “mitigate” the damage they are going to do to the eagles that live there. This goes against our own state’s environmental laws and buffer zones mandated for bald eagles. ORES supersedes everything. Every last agency and law. It’s completely unchecked and totally shielded by Governor Hochul. It’s time for the federal government to come to New York State. I promise the fraud you’ll uncover will be worth your time. Start with ORES and it’s non-audited books, as well as the executive director who’s neither an attorney, nor a judge, nor a person with any background in environmental training. Please share this. Any last remaining news channel that calls itself legitimate out there should be covering this. Lastly, we are raising money for litigation. Full Video on YouTube!⁣ ⁣ Data Center FLOODS West Virginia Community:⁣ ⁣ A small community in Mason County, West Virginia recently made local and national headlines as during construction on a trend-setting data center, a fence broke and flooded out a neighborhood; causing thousands upon thousands in damages. Many in Mason County are claiming this is simply adding insult to injury as the data center is being forced upon them with no say, no forewarning, and absolutely no promises on what type of job prospectus the new development will have for the area. ⁣ ⁣ After hearing about the floods I wanted to first dive into that, the piece needed to go deeper and cover the whole story and not just the sound bytes so I spent a few days there, toured multiple sites with locals, attended a community meeting, and have put together a comprehensive journalistic piece that I hope properly reflects the residents of Mason County, and the fight they are enduring.
