Ocular Deceptions

Even longer overdue art update.

Carpal tunnel and cubital tunnel are not as bad as it was a year ago thankfully. However with that said it only means, I can shower without being in pain and I can cook and some other things. However I can’t do anything for an extended period of time without severe pain. I was at about 10% of quality of life down from like my original 110% before the injury now I would say I’m about 35% and on a really really good day after I haven’t done anything at all for a few days I’d say about 45-50% I can do, but still never at extended periods of time. That brings me to….

I might try to draw and paint again. However I will need to take several breaks throughout the creation. I will also be unable to do body paint and faces or anything of that nature because holding my hands UP hurts so much I need to do things on flat surfaces and below my waist line to prevent my elbows being bent for long periods. I will likely still do horror but in the past year my life has changed so drastically that so have I. I have changed and when I do start getting back to art the style is going to be entirely different I won’t be able to create the way I used too so this is a learning lesson for me and it’s like starting back at square one. I am excited to see what I create and what it looks like. One day at a time. I don’t expect to be as good as I once was but, maybe I can figure it out somehow to at least not look like a completely different person did the art.
