Atlanta Flooring Design Centers was honored to host the Gwinnett Technical College Interiors Summer 2026 Materials & Resources Class at our Design Center.

Led by our founder Donny Phillips, General Manager Tony Wright, and Lilliana Perrucci, Tile & Stone Specialist and Designer, students were given an inside look at the materials, products, and industry expertise that help bring residential and commercial design projects to life.

We welcomed 15 students and their instructors for an interactive learning experience focused on flooring, tile, stone, product selection, and the important role materials play in the design process.

Thank you to Gwinnett Technical College for allowing us to be part of your students’ educational journey. We are always excited to support future designers and share our passion for the industry.

Giving back is one of our favorite ways to spend a workday.
Our AFDC team recently partnered with Sleep in Heavenly Peace – Gwinnett County for a Volunteer Time Off (VTO) event, helping build beds for local children in need. Sleep in Heavenly Peace's mission is simple but powerful: No kid sleeps on the floor in our town.
Their team provided the tools, training, and guidance while our volunteers rolled up their sleeves and got to work building bed frames that will soon provide a safe and comfortable place to sleep for children throughout our community.
