Reeves Young Heavy Civil partnered with the City of Avondale Estates to help build on its reputation as a green city. The recently completed 2-acre Town Green now serves as an economic driver for Avondale’s downtown commercial district and provides a place for the community to gather for events like outdoor concerts and City celebrations.

Since 1952, Reeves Young has been delivering legacy projects that memorialize the lives, work, and vision of treasured community members across the Southeast. We were proud to honor the memory of A. Scott Emmons on this project.

Digesters, Dewatering, Aeration, and Appurtenances - it sounds complicated, but Reeves Young Water Resources makes building wastewater treatment projects easy. We recently assisted Barrow County with the expansion of the Tanner’s Bridge Wastewater Treatment Facility to 1.5 MGD. Design features included septage receiving, headworks, a splitter box, two sequencing batch reactors, equalization basin, dewatering building/boxes, digester, chlorine contact chamber, flow monitor, effluent pump station, and aeration and discharge into the Apalachee River.
