Happy piggies are settling in. Week 1 is focused on us sitting quietly and building trust. Charlie is now brave enough to quickly sn**ch treats from our hands; Wilbur is a little more hesitant. I just love them so much!!

This garden is such a blessing! Canning and freezing has begun. After trying to grow peas unsuccessfully the last two years, I finally succeeded. Granted, it's only one small serving, but I'll chalk it up as a success. 🤣🤣 The pole beans are blanched and frozen. Relish canned. Even tried some zucchini fritters.

One of these things is not like the other. Sweet Felicia made her appearance. She's so super chill. Let me collect the eggs around her. An hour later, she's still napping in the nesting box. We've got a good arrangement: mice removal in exchange for a few eggs.
