Maker Nexus

Open Sauce is right around the corner! Maker Nexus is collaborating with makers from all over to provide space to finish up some projects. Olivier van Embden realized it would be too difficult to transport his project from the Netherlands, and is now re-building a new one at Maker Nexus. This is a fully-functional sea-worthy kayak made entirely out of paper! We will post more photos over the next few days to show how the kayak is coming along!

DIY 3D Print info stand!
“Finally managed a working hinge and completed print. Hinge pin to outer spacing 0.4mm and using a long skirt (aka “Draft Shield”->Enabled in the slicer skirt and brim pane) helped immensely. Now I need to think about what to print next since I have a viable sign to use when I print things.”
