So today, wherever you are, abide in Him!
Remain in His love, rest in His presence, and rejoice in who He is.

We’re closed today to slow down, give thanks, and soak up time with the people we love. We’re especially grateful for you — our community, our regulars, our early-morning crew, and everyone who makes this little shop feel like family.

Today we thank the Lord for His faithfulness, His provision, and the blessing it is to serve this community each day.

Roots Coffeehouse is not just a coffee shop. It’s a house of prayer.

For those who don’t know — we posted a video two days ago, and today it has half a million views, over twenty thousand likes, and hundreds of comments. Some might call it a fluke… just another viral moment on social media.

But we know better.

We know the Lord moves in ways we cannot see.
We believe He is using that video to draw people to Himself.
Yes, the video is funny — but we know the real reason people are watching, liking, and commenting is the Lord stirring hearts.

Roots Coffeehouse is not just a coffee shop.
We believe in the power of Jesus — the miraculous, healing, unbeatable power in His name.

If you saw our video and you’re one of the hundreds who decided to follow us, we want you to know this:
You are not here by accident.
That moment was ordained.
The Lord wants you to know that He loves you.
He sees you.
He created you on purpose, for a purpose.

We pray this post reaches everyone who needs it — we know it’s for at least one person.

So as you go today, remember the words of Jesus:
He leaves the ninety-nine to chase after the one.
He is chasing you — and He won’t stop until you return to the flock and the Good Shepherd.

Jesus is the Good Shepherd.

In Luke 15, Jesus tells of a shepherd who notices one sheep has wandered off. Instead of cutting His losses, He leaves the ninety-nine in safety and goes searching. He climbs hills, walks valleys, and doesn’t stop until He finds the one that’s missing.

And when He does, He doesn’t scold it.
He lifts it onto His shoulders.
He carries it home with joy.
He calls friends and neighbors to celebrate.

That’s the heart of Jesus — the Shepherd who’s pursuing you.

If you feel even the smallest tug — a curiosity, a question, a quiet stirring — that’s Him drawing near. Not with pressure, but with kindness. Not with demands, but with an invitation to be found, healed, and held.

You are seen.
You are wanted.
You are welcomed home — by the same Shepherd who rejoices over the one who returns.
