This is one of the top questions we have received about the SMI Rope Winder - does it fit on a Scotty mount? Well, everyone is out delivering crab pots and left me at the office all alone - so of course I made another rope winder video. The stock SMI Rope Winder base will fit on a Scotty mount right out of the box, and the winder mount that ships with the latest version of the rope winder uses the same bolt pattern.
