Faith Cov and The Family Resource Center are partnering with Red Canoe Credit Union for their Fill the Canoe Campaign which runs July 27-Aug 14, 2026 this year. Red Canoe will match dollar for dollar and donate $1/pound of Back-to-School items we get donated during the campaign.

We’ve received a supply list from our teachers, and hope that you may add these items to your donation list:

Small Bottles of Laundry Detergent or Small Pkg of Laundry Pods (this doesn’t seem like a school supply, but kids don’t go to school if they can’t wash their clothes, and we want kids in school!)

As we celebrate the 250th Birthday of our nation, we give thanks for the freedoms we enjoy and for those who have sacrificed to preserve them. As followers of Christ, we remember that our ultimate citizenship is in heaven (Philippians 3:20).

We hold our national identity with gratitude, humility, and hope, recognizing that God’s kingdom extends beyond. We pray for peace, justice, and flourishing for communities around the world.

Today, may we give thanks for freedom, seek the good of our neighbors, and live as faithful witnesses to the love of Christ.

What if the answer to our divided world is simpler than we think? Jesus said, "Love one another as I have loved you." When we truly understand that we are deeply loved by God, we can't help but share that love with others. This week, we're challenged to see the overlooked, include the forgotten, and love the "one sheep" the way Jesus does—because loved people love people.
